M had a terrific birthday. In fact, I would say that it was a terrific birthday month. She is taking after her dad- birthdays always last more than a day! Her birthday surprises started off with an outfit and a trip to Victoria with a friend to see the Hannah Montanah 3D movie. M received birthday money, so we took her on Saturday to a mall, and she was able to shop. Mom was walking around with an armful of "I'm thinking about these." M kept saying, "How much do I have now?" She is quite the shopper! And then finally the big day - her actual birthday! M invited friends over and we had a flower theme party. We created flower invitations, had flower pot party favors and made flower tattoos with sand. The weather outside (snowing in March!) was too crazy for outside games, but the girls were content to play inside. When we made the move, I was really sad for M because she left so many great girl friends. She was very close with them (they even threw her a good bye party). I didn't think she would be so lucky to find another great group, but I was wrong. Watching M with these girls was such a blessing! Some of the hits of the party were M's Hannah Montanah jeans. All of the girls flipped when she pulled them out! Her second American girl doll was also a big surprise. Mia is a skater and she came with her own pair of skates. The girls wanted me to open her immediately. Well, the day ended with me exhausted and M all smiles. She had a great day! Thank you to Nanny and PopPop, Nanny and G-Daddy, Aunt Shonda, Uncle Tim and Maci, Great Grandma Franks, Uncle Scott and Aunt Mara, and Great Nana for making the day special - even miles away!
Yes, it all began with these simple words, and it has ended up an adventure of a lifetime.

M, Happy Birthday! We are so glad that you like your Hannah Montana jeans. When I saw them, I know you had to have them. :) I am sorry we didn't call you yesterday...your crazy aunt can't seem to find your mommy or daddy's phone numbers. Please ask them to email them to me. :) You look so grown up. We sure do miss you. When I showed little M your pictures, and told her they were from you birthday, she sand Happy Birthday to you. That is for some reason, one of her favorite songs...and she sings every word of it...and that time it was for you! We love you and are so proud of you. Ask your mommy to send me a great picture of you in your jeans to my email so we can print it out. Tell Conor hi! We love you! Aunt S, Uncle T, M and ZZ
What a fun day! M, you are quite the diva in those HM pants!! You're growin' up...shopping for clothes now instead of toys :-) I'm glad you had such a wonderful birthday and that God has blessed you with some great new friends. We miss you and love you! Cole sends you kisses!
We're sooo sorry we didn't get a hold of M on her birthday! We also have to adjust our shipping schedule to consider the whole customs thing. M has something coming from us that (hopefully) should be there any day that will go with her Mia Ice Skater doll. Their website said they could not give us a definate delivery date due to customs, but I expect she should get it by today or tomorrow. This will just add to the idea that she has birthweek celebrations instead of birthday!! Please give lots of love from Aunt Mara & Uncle Scott and a HUGE "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" (and our apologies that her gift is late)
HaPpY BiRtHdAy, M!! I wish I could have been there to celebrate with you! I, too, enjoy celebrating my birthday for an entire month! LOL!! When I was little we had a "birthday month" and a "birthday week," both of which were of upmost importance. We were treated like royalty during that time. I continue to carry on the tradition, celebrating my life for extended periods every year! hehee! Allen makes fun of me for it! :) You are as beautiful as ever! I'm so glad to see that you've quickly made wonderful friends. I had no doubt that you would. . . I hope to see you soon! I LOVE YOU and miss you more than I can adequately communicate! xoxo!

It is so nice that your Mom has this site. Love to see the pic's and hear about how things are going. Can't believe M is seven. M - both our girls love Hannah Montana. We took 7 girls to see the movie and they loved it. The "A girls" also love American Girl dolls. It was nice seeing your beautiful dress great Nana made. C - loved seeing the pic's of you and hearing about football.
I'm sure the girls will write later. It's saturday and they are sleeping in.
Lots of love,
