I could not resist publishing this blog. This picture is of M and her "adopted" sister. Her name also begins with M. There is a couple at our church (that is involved in our young adults program) with a 10 month old baby girl. Of course, M was a magnet to her from the beginning. M carries her around church and plays with her before and after church. Baby M and her mommy also went to the Hannah Montanah 3-D movie with us. I think that M was more interested in playing with the baby than the actual movie. This little girl has been a blessing to our family. M is the most vocal about missing her sister that is in heaven, and she cries often. This sweet couple has told M that Baby M could be her adopted sister. It brings a sparkle to her eyes! M has been very good with the baby and is very gentle and careful with her. Her mommy is more relaxed than I am with M carrying her all over church! Again, God just keeps bringing special blessings to our family.
Yes, it all began with these simple words, and it has ended up an adventure of a lifetime.

M, you look SO big holding baby M. What a darling picture. I know that you all enjoyed seeing Uncle J. I pray that M and I get to come and see you all too. Hugs to C for me! Love you, Aunt S
This story with baby sister M made me cry. How precious to see M holding her. God does bring sooo many blessings are way. He continues to show Himself as the Caring God that He is. I've been recently challenged not to make my God small...He is truly BIG in everyway. How blessed we all are!!
Today, I really enjoyed the blog very much. What a special way to keep up with our family away. "So far away", yet so close to our hearts. J and I miss you ... our hearts are filled with hope and joy overflowing that God is sovereign and His plans for us are for His glory and His purpose. C and M are growing up too fast...savour the moments that will pass all too quickly...S as a little boy at the age of five, preaching his first sermon on a stump at a campground in front of many who knew then that God had plans.........and yes all the way to C...Quoting from R's letter he sent...yes home, a place where we are free to live out our ministry as who we are, as God has gifted us.....He said it so well...Not to be put in a mold that others want to put us in....free to serve, funny that we're all guilty of times trying to express our feelings of how things and other people should be and minister...I'm guilty....and so sorry ..and I ask that God would continually open my eyes to the fact that HE is God and I am not....to be so blessed to be able to enjoy how God has made each of us so different..."how boring to all be alike in this vast ministry" HE has given yall a great church to serve and be a part of community in, a beautiful home and many friends and for that we are thankful. Seeing C and M's pictures and what they are involved in ....C playing football with his arms around the other guys ahoulders and M holding the sweet baby girl in her arms and smiling so big...(yes, I get teary eyed) they are two very special children that have hearts of gold and tender ways. We never dreamed that we could love any children more than our own and then their special spouses....yet needless to say grandchildren are GRAND....and they are the love of our lives...to have 4 precious grandchildren....little J our fourth at home with the Father, going on before us, C our first, M our second and M our third...what a treasure God has blessed us with. Just alittle meloncholy today as we dwell on the goodness of God to fill the empty spaces that HE alone can fill....love and kisses from TN to C.. bye for now p.s. I love the music on the blog...Oh Heavenly Day!
